Hi, I'm Kristen, the artist behind Kristen Ferrell Makeup Artistry.
My passion for beauty began over 15 years ago when I graduated from Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work on incredible projects, including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, Miami International Fashion Week, and collaborative editorial shoots with the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. These experiences helped shape my artistry and deepened my love for creating timeless, beautiful looks.
In 2012, I joined MAC Cosmetics, where I spent seven years growing into a management role. During that time, I refined my technical skills, developed a passion for exceptional client experiences, and learned the importance of helping every person who sits in my chair feel confident and beautiful.
Life eventually led me to Southwest Virginia, where I married my best friend and became a mom to two wonderful children. After those exciting new chapters, I returned to my true passion—bridal makeup.
Today, I specialize in creating soft, timeless, and personalized bridal looks that help my clients feel like the most confident version of themselves. It is such an honor to be trusted on one of the most meaningful days of someone's life. Every bride has a unique story, and I feel incredibly grateful to play a small part in helping bring their wedding-day vision to life.
